The Hubble, Infographic – Scene

Hubble Deep Space Images.

‘The Hubble Space Telescope’s launch in 1990 sped humanity to one of its greatest advances in the journey to understand the universe. Hubble is a telescope that orbits Earth. Its position above the atmosphere, which distorts and blocks the light that reaches our planet, gives it a view of the universe that typically far surpasses that of ground-based telescopes.’

The second half of this scene had previously been animated by Fiona McLaughlin. I then animated the first half of the scene and made adjustments to the entire scene based on feedback a few of the things that I changed are:

  • The circle in the introduction was a different shade of green than that in the last half of the animation so these are now matching.
  • The first half of the scene now movement of the text and the circle behind the text now grows to frame.
  • The observatory that popped up in the last half of the scene has now been removed.
  • The hand and thumb that were shown in the last half are also removed and the circle that then grows to frame in the last half of the animation has now been cleaned up.
