The next stage in the tutorial was to create a torus in the origin of the scene this can easily be done by pressing the ctrl button whilst pressing the torus button on the shelf. An alternative way to do this in the network view to use the tool palette and pull the torus into the network view which will create a torus node and a piece of torus geometry in the scene. Screen Shot 2013-12-12 at 13.09.55 I had to then resize the torus to around the same size of the teapot and move on to the next stage which was the creation of the switch. Screen Shot 2013-12-12 at 13.11.03To create a switch I was able to use the tool palette and type in switch and pull it into the network view or I was able to use the tab menu and type in switch and pull it in to the network view. Once I had created the switch I had to then link the torus to the switch as I had already dropped the node onto the path of the teapot and by changing the input from 0 to 1.

This is a view of the teapot with all the platonic object visible it looks all smooth and pretty and seeing it like this shows the contrast between the original and the brickified version.Screen Shot 2013-12-12 at 13.13.26
