The next stage of the tutorial involved placing a ground plane in the scene this is so that the columns do not fall through the grid into endless space and time the video will show you an example of what happened when the simulation was played without a ground plane… gravity took over.
The image below shows the ground plane in the scene to correct what was happening in the video above this.To insert a ground plane into a scene it is simply one button all that is required of the user is to set the size of the ground plane. The next stage was to insert a sphere into the origin of the scene. I had to then move the sphere into the location required like in the images below.After the sphere has been moved into location the next stage is to change its type to polygon and increase the frequency to 4. I had to then make the sphere a rigid body object and add a pin constraint to the sphere so that it would have a swinging action applied to it.
